The only way to multi-task


We all know that multi-tasking doesn’t work for most people. Our brains just don’t work that way. However, there is a way to multi-task that maximizes productivity and fun.

It’s all about combining something physical with something mental.

Examples:

  • Listening to podcasts (mental) while running (physical)
  • Listening to a really juicy audiobook (mental) while cleaning your home (physical)
  • Talking with a friend (mental) while going for a walk (physical)
  • Listening to a fun kids novel (mental) while doing crafts with your kids (physical)

You get the idea.

This is the only form of multi-tasking that makes sense to me.
